Au coeur du Laos, Habita(n)ts

Travel books from Slovia Roginski asks the public about the interactions between environment and residents through vernacular’s building.

As an ex-student from l’école Boule, she gets her inspiration from traditionnal habitats of people from Laos and Vietnam, countries she had been traveling through for 6 months in 2013. She wanted to « learn other ways to build things » and « get people interested in architercture ». So she designed the « tinkering » constructions, huts where inventiveness takes on its full meaning.

This temporary exhibition also creates dialogues between objects from the extra-european collections of the Crozatier Museum and Slovia Roginski’s work.
